How Steve Heyer Succeed in His Career


Steve Heyer is a kind of person that everybody will like for he is approachable, easy to be with and very friendly person. Since childhood, he already wants to succeed. His determination brought him to take up criminal justice in college. Stephon though busy with sports, maintained high grades while in college. He had proven that he can maintain good grades while doing well in football. On December 2006, he graduated with Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice.

When Steve Heyer was not in school, you will find him out there in the field. All his efforts of training through the years brought him to the highest rated lineman for the terps for the recently ended 2011. Actually he played lower on 2011 with his 11 games starts off. 2003 was better for Stephon for he played in 13 games, better with 2 more than he did on 2004. But on 2003, he was ranked second only to the highest lineman at that time.

When Stephon started playing football, he was already six feet tall and weighed 230 pounds. By the end of his senior year, his height increased six more inches, adds more muscles to his 100 pounds and wears a size 22 sneakers when not on the field. While in school, he played as left tackle and because of his extraordinary performances, many colleges were interested to get him in their team. This includes Florida, Arkansas, Ohio, Alabama and many more. His massive frame has proven to be a great asset in preventing the defensive players. Combined with this superior and unique style of playing, in the year 2007, having impressed his coach and being a favorite of the crowd, Stephon was picked to play in the Hula Bowl. This has further opened up more opportunities for him including ESPN’s All Bowl team.

Stephon Heyer began his career with the Redskins on 2007 which lasted until 2011. On August of the same year, he became one of the players of Oakland Raiders. He is the newest addition to Oakland Raiders. Though new in the tea, he is definitely not new in the game.

Since childhood, Stephon’s mom who single handedly raised him, aimed for a bright future for his son. She helped him develop a body fit to be an athlete and even got him a personal trainer so that he will perfect the sport. She deeply motivated his child to remain focus on his studies and the game of football. This led him to always be ahead one step of the pack and the excellence shows in all his performances.
